Sarah is a very special girl to me. She comes here all the way from Phyllis Tobias in Michigan. She is referred to by foundation breeders as an F3. This means that she is the third full generation of cats that are all known or identified in her pedigree. She is a very important addition to my breeding program because she will add new genetic material. New genetic material is essential for a strong immune system. She is a true outcross to my male, Bearwalker. They do share some ancestors in their background but looking at Bear’s pedigree compared to Sarah’s, it becomes quite clear that she is from different lines than Bear is. Sarah and Bearwalker will be the beginning of a new line unique to PurRydeRoc. Their kittens and future generations of kittens will offer a more diverse genetic background. This is so important to the continued health of the breed. Sarah is an excellent mother and a very affectionate girl. Thank you Phyllis for this special girl.
